Description
We’re Hiring an ADR Van Driver!
Backline is expanding, and we're looking for experienced and reliable ADR Van (Category B) drivers to join our growing team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with an immediate start available.
- The role will consist of driving a 3.5 Tonne Van locally to complete deliveries
- You will be responsible for completing daily vehicle checks and carrying out deliveries safely and on time
- The routes will be planned out for you to follow. You must ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Start times between 06:00am - 08:00am (flexible), once you have passed probation there is an opportunity to start as early as 3am if you wish
- Free on-site parking
- Temp to perm opportunity
Competitive Pay | Overtime Available | Immediate Starts | Training
Requirements
- Valid Van (Category B) Driving Licence
- Valid ADR Category 6 (Packages) certificate – essential
- Minimum 6 months van driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Maximum 6 points on your licence as minor offences
Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Own transport to travel to work
- Complete training as required
