ADHOC D1+E Minibus Driver
Location: Bridgwater
Job Type: Part-Time / Ad Hoc
Pay Rate: Starting at £16 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an ADHOC D1+E Minibus Driver to support our client with the transportation of foreign exchange students to and from airports, excursions and other scheduled destinations.
The role involves driving a 17-seater minibus with a luggage trailer and offers flexible, part-time work on an ad hoc basis, depending on the client's requirements.
The Role
- Safely drive a 17-seater minibus with luggage trailer
- Transport foreign exchange students to and from airports, excursions and other destinations
- Provide a professional, friendly and reliable service to passengers
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers throughout journeys
- Work on an ad hoc, part-time basis according to the client's requirements
Requirements
- Valid D1+E entitlement on a UK driving licence
- Valid PCV Driver CPC, with current periodic training
- Previous minibus or coach driving experience is desirable but not essential
- DBS check preferred but not essential, as drivers will not be left alone with students
- Clean and professional approach
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with international/foreign exchange students
