Description
Class 1 HGV Driver – Dorset
Pay: £17 - £21 per hour
Hours: FULL-TIME / PART-TIME / AD HOC
Shifts: DAYS / NIGHTS / WEEKENDS
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
Backline Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work with our established clients in Dorset.
We have opportunities available for ongoing, full-time, part-time and ad hoc work, with a variety of contracts and shift patterns available.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 articulated vehicles
- Complete deliveries and collections as required
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation
- Ensure loads are secure and transported safely
- Provide a professional level of customer service
- Work safely and in accordance with all company and site procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 / Category C+E licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
