Class 2 HGV Driver – Dorset
Pay: £16 - £18 per hour
Hours: FULL-TIME / PART-TIME / AD HOC
Shifts: DAYS / NIGHTS / TRAMPING
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
Backline Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to work with our established clients in Dorset.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular ongoing work, full-time hours, flexible shifts or temp-to-perm opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 2 / Category C vehicles
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections where required
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Complete all delivery paperwork
- Ensure goods are transported safely and securely
- Provide a professional level of customer service
- Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
