We Just Can’t Help It

Further to multiple success stories already this year (see 2 becomes 1 and we’ve done it again), yet another driver has successfully upgraded their licence from HGV Class 2 to Class 1 with us.

Scott Andrews, a driver who who joined our team a little over two years ago, is the latest to join the growing group of drivers we have put through the training. During his time with us he has worked on HIAB (which we trained him on back in 2016), palletised distribution, timber delivery and more.

It didn’t take long for the team in Bridgwater to recognise Scott’s potential and he soon became a “Guarantee” (full-time permanent) driver with us.

First Choice

Scott’s excellent accident record, commitment to the job and ability to generate fantastic feedback from all our clients meant he was an obvious choice for our licence upgrade programme when the funding was made available.

We asked Scott how it felt to get the pass, and this is what he said:

First Kevin and Jamie, and later Amy and Simon (who run the Bridgwater office) have

I have nothing but praise for the way my abilities have been put to good use,

you are always on time, polite and courteous, and do each callout in a professional manner!

 

I am really happy to have passed my class 1 licence, and would like to say a big thank you to Simon and Amy
for seeing how suitable I was for it and giving me a chance to better myself.
