Warehouse Operative (Nights)

Description
Backline logistics are seeking an enthusiastic and hard working Warehouse Operative on a back shift. No previous experience is required as full training will be given but previous warehouse experience and/ or forklift driving is advantageous. Usual shift pattern of 15:00pm-00.30am with a 30 minute break and guaranteed pay of 9 hours per day, Monday-Thursday. This role is physical and involves heavy lifting. Temp to perm opportunities available for the right candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive, handle, store and deliver goods to support logistics activity.
- Carefully and safely move goods using manual handling, pallet trucks and/or dollies.
- Load and unload lorries.
- Ensure stock accuracy.
- General tidying and replenishment.
The Requirements:
- Someone who prides themselves in being 100% accurate.
- Positive Attitude.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Health & Safety conscious.
- Physically fit as heavy lifting will be required.
- Eye for detail.
- Able to work alone and part of a team
