Description
Backline Logistics are looking for a temporary HGV Class 2/ Category C Jet Vacuum Tanker driver and operative, for our Plymouth based client.
This role is on a temporary basis and would provide sickness or holiday cover for our client’s drivers. Normal hours are 10-hour shifts starting from 07:00am, Monday-Friday paid at £14.00 per hour PAYE. Some occasional nights away will be required and accommodation will be provided for these.
The ideal candidate will have had at least one year of HGV Class 2/Cat C/ Rigid vehicle experience. Previous jet vacuum tanker experience is essential. ADR and HGV Class 1/ Category C+E are desirable but not essential. Jet vac services are often relied upon by clients facing emergencies and serious problems. Operators will need to work efficiently and safely while delivering a high standard of customer service.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- You must hold a full UK Class 2/ Category C License with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
- CSCS card Preferred but not essential.
- Have previous experience with high pressure jet vac vehicles.
- Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
- Be clean and professional at all times.
- Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
