Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled dust Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivery driving and a good understanding of mechanical operations. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Some loading will be required - may need to move 100 lire bins.
Monday to Friday - 9 hours per day
Must be happy with early starts
Responsibilities
- Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of cargo.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (Class C)
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong safety record.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
