Description
Class II Hiab Driver
Monday to Friday 07.00-17.00
£600.00 plus per week
Must have a current Allmi Hiab certificate.
You will be delivering to various locations around South West England, loading and unloading using a lorry mounted crane. Some hand balling may be required. You will be working from various locations across the South West.
Transport required to get to location.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of all items
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usages or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Skills:
- Valid Class II/I driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, with Hiab experience.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
