Class 1 Driver - Walking floor

1 years experience of Class I driving and walking floor experience required.

Start times from 06.00am.

Delivering freight to various locations in the South West.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery logistics
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle

Experience:
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a walking floor vehicle.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and delivery procedures
