BUSINESS CONTINUES TO GROW AT OUTBASE EXETER
A long-standing client that has been using Outbase Exeter for over 10 years will be increasing their service requirements from March onwards, demonstrating the importance of cultivating key client relationships.
As well as using Exeter as their Outbase facility, this particular client – a national distributor of DIY goods – will also be parking additional vehicles in the yard and using drivers from Backline to deliver customer purchases to those living in the South West of England.
“Our facility has always been a hub of activity as the gateway to the South West, so cultivating strong relationships with existing customers as well as new customers really is key” said Kelly Hughes, Manager at Outbase Exeter.
“Maintaining high levels of service really is the lifeblood of running an efficient facility, and not just from a logistics perspective, but from a relational perspective too. The fact that this particular customer is still using our services after 10 years, and now wants to expand those services is the biggest testimonial we could ever receive,” added Kelly.
The future is definitely bright for the Outbase Exeter team. And despite navigating all the challenges that have been thrown their way over the past two years, the team continues to go from strength to strength, in the yard and also in the office too.
“Working with a tenacious team means that we’re always building relationships, whether it’s with long-standing clients or fresh new contacts, from nationwide household names to more boutique suppliers. There’s never a dull moment here,” exclaimed Kelly.
