Maintaining High Standards at Outbase Exeter with FORS accreditation

The team at Backline Outbase Exeter is currently renewing their FORS Accreditation to demonstrate their ability to execute and maintain the highest standards of excellence within health and safety.
 
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary scheme for fleet operators that aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and demonstrates which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
 
The team at Outbase Exeter has held FORS Accreditation for over 2 years, proving their continued commitment to providing an excellent service and exceeding industry expectations.
 

“Being awarded FORS Accreditation is something that we take incredibly seriously,” said Kelly Hughes, manager at Backline Outbase Exeter.

“As part of the accreditation process, we’re audited once a year to ensure we still meet health and safety standards and that the entire site is compliant – from me, the transport manager and the vehicles on site, to the drivers, their working hours and even the tachos. No stone is left unturned. Consistent high standards are paramount,” added Kelly.

 
As a FORS Accredited company, Backline Logistics is viewed as a forward-thinking operator that has the competitive edge, proving to customers and clients that industry standards are of utmost importance and demonstrates their ability to go above and beyond to maintain these standards.
 

“Statistics produced by FORS show that there are only 4,850 accredited members and only 102,000 accredited vehicles in the UK, which puts us in a really strong position when attracting new clients as we’re showing how seriously we take the health and safety of everything and everyone using our site,” said Kelly.

 
FORS Accreditation is awarded at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. Backline Outbase Exeter has been awarded Bronze for 2021-2022.
