Van Driver – Exeter
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 07.00 start - minimum 40 hours but often 50 hours + weekly. The shift finishes when the drops are complete.
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
Backline Logistics are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to work with one of our established clients in Exeter.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work, with temp-to-perm opportunities.
This is a service job working for a company supplying and servicing sanitation equipment to events, building sites and anywhere requiring temporary facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company van safely and professionally
- Service facilities including emptying and filling sanitation stations.
- Complete deliveries and collections as required
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation
- Plan and complete delivery routes efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading where required
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- Training will be given
- Good knowledge of local and UK roads
- Comfortable completing multi-drop deliveries where required
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
