Van Driver
We are looking for a van driver to cover long term sick for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Drops about 15-20 per day mostly in North Devon. 1 or 2 trips per day
Deliveries of chemicals which are heavy and require a lot of manual handling.
Your deliveries will be made to farms so can be dirty and potentially smelly.
08:00 start and can be long days when busy.
Transport required due to location.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Van Driver or similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license (B)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills
