Are you a reliable and experienced Van driver looking for an Agency Job with a growing company?
Backline Logistics is seeking a professional van driver to join our team in Dorset. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering pallets, completing multi-drop deliveries, and providing excellent customer service to our clients in the builder merchant industry and beyond. The role can include quite physical elements, especially with Builders Merchants that could see you having to unload heavy items by hand.
About the Role:
- Collect and deliver pallets to various locations across Dorset.
- Perform multi-drop deliveries, ensuring efficient route planning and timely completion.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both personally and with the company vehicle.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, building strong relationships with customers.
Requirements:
- Valid Category B driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- No unspent criminal convictions and authorised to work in the UK.
- At least 1 year of commercial van driving experience.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries, pallet collections, and deliveries.
- Good knowledge of the Dorset area and road networks (familiarity with the local area is a plus).
Benefits:
- Competitive salary starting from £ per hour (equivalent to £562.50 per week).
- Minimum of 9 hours paid per shift, with overtime and double-time opportunities available.
