Are you a qualified and experienced HGV driver with an HIAB certificate, looking for a stable career with a growing agency company?
Backline Logistics is seeking a professional HGV HIAB driver to join our team in Dorset. You will be responsible for delivering materials to various locations, primarily working with reputable builders' merchants. You will also be expected to maintain a positive and helpful attitude, ensuring excellent customer service.
About the Role:
- Deliver materials to various locations across Dorset using a HIAB-equipped HGV.
- Operate the HIAB crane safely and efficiently, ensuring proper loading and unloading of materials.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both personally and with the company vehicle.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C / Class 2 HGV driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card.
- Valid HIAB / Lorry Mounted Loader Certificate.
- Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points (no drink driving or drug driving offences in the last 5 years).
- Must be authorised to work in the UK.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary starting from £16.24 per hour (equivalent to £730.80 per week).
- Minimum of 9 hours paid per shift, with overtime and double-time opportunities available.
