We are looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join a well-known and long-established company in Winchester. This is a great opportunity for a driver who values job security, a supportive team, and a genuine work–life balance.
You’ll be joining a family-run business that has been trading successfully since 1952 and takes pride in looking after its drivers. The role is Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with no weekends, making it ideal for drivers wanting consistent hours and time at home.
This is a multi-drop role with a sensible workload, typically between 1 and 6 drops per day.
Due to the insurance stipulations that this business has we unfortunately can not accept anyone under the age of 25 .
Essential Requirements
- Over 25 for Insurance purposes
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Complete training as required.
Benefits
- £14.00 - £15.00 per hour.
- Exclusively Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00.
- Closed of Christmas.
- Early finishes on Friday's if permitted.
