Description
We’re Hiring Class 2 Drivers!
Backline is looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 (Category C) drivers. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time – we have something for you!
We have a position for a temp to perm full time driver in Cullompton. It is on a 7 week rota and shifts are over 7 days. The start time is 02.00am.
You will be delivering to business premises across the South West.
We are also looking for staff on an ad-hoc basis to cover holidays and sickness.
Training will be given.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 24 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Less than 6 points
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Some lifting required associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Own transport to travel to work
- Complete training as required
