Tuesday to Saturday 7am-15.30pm.
This role is ongoing.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all materials are handled effectively and that stock is managed accurately. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from lorries.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System to track inventory levels and stock movements.
- Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring all stock is stored correctly.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated capability in materials handling and understanding of warehouse operations.
- Strong physical fitness to handle the demands of heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a busy environment.
-Good numeracy and literacy skills required.
