Van Driver – Exeter
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: PART-TIME (Rota)
Shifts: 7.5 hours (3 days out of 7)
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
Backline Logistics are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to work with one of our established clients in Exeter.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work until Mid December.
Once this assignment is completed, we can talk about other opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company van safely and professionally
- Complete deliveries and collections as required
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation
- Plan and complete delivery routes efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading items
- Provide excellent customer service
- Deal with the public, clients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manor.
- Keep accurate stock levels
- Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of local and UK roads
- Comfortable completing deliveries/collection as required
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
