Description
HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driver required for regular shifts with various clients in the Shepton Mallet area. You will be working for a number of companies on General Haulage / Palletised delivery work.
Shifts will typically start between 07:00/08:00 and run until 17:30 although this can vary depending on the number of deliveries / collections and the area being covered. Applicants should be comfortable making up to 10-15 drops per day.
Duties Will include:
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with driving regulations
- Delivery of palletised items to a mixture of commercial, residential and site addresses
- Collection of pallets form similar sites
- Maintaining accurate delivery and collection records
- Customer Service
