Description
Backline Logistics Plymouth are looking for a HGV Class 1/ Category C+E tramper driver working Tuesday-Saturday with 4 nights out per week, starting and finishing in Ivybridge, Devon.
This role includes handball, you will be expected to load/unload your own vehicle.
You will get paid for a minimum of 48 hours per week paid at £14.49 per hour, hours after this are paid at £21.73 per hour. A location allowance of £36.53 per week and £36 night allowance is paid each night out. The minimum weekly wage will be £876.05.
This role is a temporary to permanent position.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Complete training as required
