Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team on an ongoing / temp to perm basis for the right candidate. Delivering cages to local Spar shops across the South of England.
Essential Responsibilities
- Must have held your Class 2 licence for a minimum 2 years
- Must be over the age of 25
- Delivering various products to Spar locations in a timely manner.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Tail lift and manual handling of bread deliveries.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
Package
- 4 on 3 off shift pattern
- Weekend working
- 0400 – 0500 start times
- £15.00 per hour
- 40 hour week.
