Backline is expanding, and we're looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 (Category CE) drivers to join our growing team. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or flexible shifts – we have something for you!
Days | Nights | Permanent positions | Temp to Perm
Competitive Pay | Overtime Available | Immediate Starts | Training
We have work in various locations, Southampton, Winchester, Andover, Eastleigh, Portsmouth and MORE!
Guaranteed weekly salary for the right person starting at £765 per week equating to £39,780 depending on experience.
Available Positions
- Day Drivers
- Night Drivers
- Multi-Drop / General Haulage
- Container Work
- Weekend-Only Shifts
- Skip, RoRo, Dust
- Plant
- Specialist Roles
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Own transport to travel to work
- Complete training as required
