Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Class 2 Sweeper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient sweeping at various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to use a sweeper (some training given) vehicle in compliance with all relevant regulations. Previous experience preferred.
This role is part of a job share. You will be doing 1-2 days on a regular basis (days vary on a weekly basis) but must be flexible to do more days/whole week when required.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van sweeper
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with the appropriate class for commercial driving. (Class C)
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations is essential.
