Description
Our client based in Clyst Saint Mary, Devon is looking for a warehouse operative with CB FLT experience. A current licence is preferred but not essential.
Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week.
Position Summary:
Responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping of products in a warehouse. Some handballing may be required so a good level for fitness is needed.
Must have good literacy and numeracy skills to sort and stack goods.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming warehouse products into inventory in compliance with established procedures and established safety standards.
- Unload and put away warehouse products in compliance with established procedures and established safety standards.
- Check in and put away outgoing warehouse products in accordance with established procedures and established safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas - sweeping, mopping, painting etc.
- Perform related duties assigned or required by supervisor to maintain quality standards.
- Perform related duties as assigned or required by supervisor to maintain production standards.
- Work with other departments to ensure that orders are received in good condition and that there is adequate inventory on hand.
