We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mixer Driver.

Experience preferred but training will be given.

This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and cleaning.

40 hours per week (paid 45 hours)

Bonus scheme once role becomes permanent.

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical knowledge to identify and address basic vehicle issues.
• Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with regulations.
• Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
