HIAB Training
HIAB is a brand name which has become a generic term used to refer to a Lorry Mounted Crane / Lorry Mounted Loader. Our HIAB training is accredited by the National Plant Operator Registration Scheme (NPORS) and the Association of Industrial Truck Training (AITT), who are part of the Accrediting Bodies Association and recognised nationally. NPORS cards can, subject to additional requirements, also carry the CSCS logo for access to building sites.
HIAB training courses last either one or two days, depending on the operator’s previous experience and the number of candidates on the course. Courses involve some classroom-based theory, followed by practical training and an operator skills test.
We are able to cater our HIAB training to both novice and refresher candidates. Training is delivered either at our site in Hill Barton (near Exeter) or can be delivered at your site using your equipment.
Our HIAB training can also count towards the operator’s Driver CPC hours. Typically courses are arranged on an as-required basis, but any available courses that are already scheduled will be shown below.
