Description
Class 1 / Category CE HGV Driver required starting immediately in Poole for ongoing day work Monday to Friday for general haulage and collections throughout the South. Start time each day will be approx. 07:00am with a minimum of 9 hours paid per day.
Ad-Hoc / Casual shifts are also available.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- You must hold a full UK Category C Licence.
- Ideally you will have experience driving a curtain sided vehicle.
- You must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- You must pass a driving assessment and induction.
- Knowledge of load security using ratchet straps and other methods.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Clean and professional at all times.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
THE PAY
PAYE
- £15.00 per hour.
- Minimum 9 hours paid per day.
- X1.3 after 9 hours Monday to Friday.
- X1.5 all hours Saturday.
- X2 all hours Sunday and Bank Holiday.
- Up to 28 days holiday accrued per year.
- Pension contributions after 12 weeks probation period.
- (45 hour week Mon to Fri Incl nights out would gross £675.00).
- (50 hour week Mon to Fri Incl nights out would gross £772.50).
- (55 hour week Mon to Fri would gross £870.00).
We Contract (Umbrella Company)
- £19.50 per hour.
- Minimum 9 hours paid per day.
- X1.3 after 9 hours Monday to Friday.
- X1.5 all hours Saturday.
- X2 all hours Sunday and Bank Holiday.
- Up to 28 days holiday accrued per year.
- Pension contributions after 12 weeks probation period.
- (45 hour week Mon to Fri Incl nights out would gross £877.50).
- (50 hour week Mon to Fri Incl nights out would gross £1004.25).
- (55 hour week Mon to Fri would gross £1131.00).
THE KIT
- Fleet of mainly Automatic vehicles fitted with Sat Nav and Digital Tachographs.
- Curtain sided vehicles, Urban trailer and double deckers.
- Backline Logistics Hi Vis Vest and Branded Polo Shirts provided.
- Steel Toe Cap Boots provided.
