Backline has a great relationship with thier drivers (some say we’re more of a family business!). Whether you’re an HGV artic, rigid, 7.5t, van driver, HIAB, or ADR driver – if you’re looking to be locally based and escape the ‘conveyor belt’ of agency work then you’re in the right place
We are currently recruiting full and part-time 7.5t distribution drivers based near Bristol city centre for ongoing, flexible work.
The Work
You will be delivering automotive freight to sites across the region using a 7.5t box body. The work isn't physical and is highly rewarding as the amount of drops are only between 5 – 10 per day. The job requires you to keep to the drop order and will see your day run smoothly. Hours are very sociable with start times around 0600-0700 and finish times approximately 1700 or before.
About you...
- Full UK 7.5t (cat C1) license with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- CPC and digital tachograph card
- An ability to drive steady and sympathetically would be essential. We aren’t looking for those who rush but instead people who take it steady and get the job done without fuss or incident.
